As-Is is exactly what the name says: come to the Aurora yard, walk the unit, and what you see is what you take home. These are typically 18 years and older, often pulled from late-stage rail or domestic-fleet service, and the imperfections are part of the deal. Big rust patches, dents, faded paint patches, sometimes a soft spot in the deck or a pinhole leak in the roof corner that needs a patch before you can rely on the envelope.
For the right buyer, that’s a feature, not a bug. Acreage owners across Adams County, Strasburg, Bennett, and the Eastern Plains use As-Is containers as livestock windbreaks, perimeter walls for equipment yards, raw corten stock for barn projects, and starting points for welder-led custom builds. The price is unbeatable on a per-square-foot basis, and for utility uses that’s all that matters.
We sell As-Is units without a 30-day guarantee and we won’t recommend them for any habitable space without a major rebuild. If your project plan starts with “I’m a welder” or “I’ve already converted three of these,” you’re our customer. Otherwise, the small jump up to a WWT unit gets you a sealed envelope and a much more forgiving starting point.
