The 40ft As-Is is the most steel-per-dollar deal we ever stock. These come off lease fleets at the end of their commercial life, and what arrives in our Aurora yard is exactly what we sell - dents, big rust patches, faded carrier livery, and occasionally a leaky roof corner you’ll need to patch with a peel-and-stick membrane before relying on the unit.
For property owners with acreage out toward Deer Trail or Limon, these make excellent shipping-container compound walls, livestock windbreaks, or perimeter security walls for equipment yards. Welders and metal fabricators buy them for raw corten stock - there’s more usable plate steel in a single 40-footer than in a small trailer load of fresh sheet.
We don’t recommend As-Is for anything you plan to occupy or rent without a substantial rebuild, and there’s no 30-day guarantee on the unit. What you walk around in the yard is exactly what shows up on your property a few days later. The price is honest and the steel is honest.
