Clear Approach
Plan on roughly 75 ft of straight approach for a 40-footer, 60 ft for a 20-footer. Overhead clearance of ~14 ft for the tilt-bed when it raises.
Level the Pad
Gravel, railroad ties, or pre-cast pier blocks at the four corners are enough for unmodified units. Permitted builds usually call for engineered footings.
Mark Your Spot
Spray-paint or stake the four corners exactly where you want the box. Our driver works from your marks within an inch or two.
